1 Why TM e-Learning Hub Portal?
  TM e-Learning Hub provide your employees worldwide with web-based access to one of the world's largest e-catalogs of professional skills and career development learning, containing training in a variety of mediums (instructor-led classes, virtual classes, web based training and videos) and a wide range of subject areas. TM e-Learning Hub also allow employees to create personal Learning Plans, where they can track their learning history, review information about pending and past learning enrollments.

2 What type of courses is supported by TM e-Learning Hub?
  TM e-Learning Hub are able to launch and track all AICC compliant courses (e.g. NETG, Skillsoft, etc). However, TM e-Learning Hub are also built to cater for scheduled online and offline courses. Employees are able to register themselves for online virtual classes or instructor-led physical classes.

3 Why should I register?
  Registering with TM e-Learning Hub allows you to enroll in our instructor-led and online courses. On the registration page you are required to provide your contact information and select your personal log-in ID and password.

4 How to start?
  There is no client software installation needed in order to start accessing TM e-Learning Hub. However, in order for TM e-Learning Hub to work properly in client machine, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and above is recommended as the browser platform. Point your URL to your organization TM e-Learning Hub Portal address and you are ready to register yourself! For registration, you are required to click on the 'I want to sign up' hyperlink on the left hand panel. This will lead you to the registration page where you key in your personal information, your user id and password. The system will store all the information in database and System Administrators are allowed to configure the system to allow users to access the system with or without going through the approval process.

6 How long do I need to wait before I can start using TM e-Learning Hub?
  If the TM e-Learning Hub is configured to go through approval process for registration, users are not allowed to access the system before their registration are approved. Users are required to wait for email notification generated by the system upon access right granted to them. However, if TM e-Learning Hub is configured to bypass the approval process, users are able to login to the system almost immediately after the registration.

7 How to log into TM e-Learning Hub?
  Go to your organization TM e-Learning Hub URL and key in your User ID and password before clicking the login button in the left panel. For successful login, the system will direct you to the main page and your name will be displayed on the top left panel. However, if the system fails to authenticate your user id and password, the system will display an error page and will require you to go through the login process again.

8 How do I find and select for TM e-Learning Hub course offerings?
  You can use the search function on the top left panel to look for your courses. From the search results, you are able to make request. (refer to the next question on how to request for training)

9 How to request for training?
  Click on the course name that you want to request from the main page or from the catalog search result page. This will lead you to the request page. If the course is currently available in your organization, click the 'Add In' hyperlink to add into your Learning Plan. By doing so, the page will lead you to key in your training information.

10 What if the requested course is not available?
  However, if the course is not available, click the 'Request' hyperlink to make request to your organization Training Administrators. By analyzing the amount of requests on the courses, Training Administrators will have a better understanding on your organization training needs. This will help Training Administrators to make good decisions on your organization training investment.

11 How to know if my request is approved?
  Similar to registration, System Administrators will have the option to configure if your organization training request needs to go through the approval process. If the approval functions are enabled, the training request will have to be approved by your Training Administrators before the requests are added to the users' Learning Plan. *Users are notified by email generated by the system upon the approval. If the approval functions are disabled, the request will be added into the users' Learning Plan once the system has checked for the availability of the requested courses. *Again, users are notified by email generated by the system once this is done.

12 How to navigate in TM e-Learning Hub Portal?
  TM e-Learning Hub is designed to provide a user friendly and informative interface. Navigation in TM e-Learning Hub Portal is easy with all information is just two clicks away! Users will find the navigation hyperlinks on top of the middle panel extremely helpful which provide links to their previous screens. The navigation buttons on the left panel are also familiar features in most web sites.

13 How do I know what training to take?
  TM e-Learning Hub have the ability to recommend courses to users based on the skills that they want to acquire. To do this, the Training Administrators will have to define the course to skill map dictionary.

14 How do I find the information I need?
  Here's a list of the buttons and links on this site and a description of what function each performs.

Learning Plan
In the Learning Plan page, you will be able to find all your currently enrolled courses. For web based training (WBT) courses, you are allowed to launch it from here. As for instructor led training (ILT), you are able to access the schedule of the classes.

Training History
The Learning History page shows you all the classes and items that you have finished or completed from the Learning Plan. *From here, the system will be able to recommend the skill set that you have acquired through all the courses that you have attended and completed.

Personal Profile
The My Profile page is where you obtain a detailed account information, update your personal information and change your password.

To Do List Allow users to add in their own personal to do list. All the items added here will be displayed on the right panel in the main page.

Logoff
Select this button if you want to exit the TM e-Learning Hub learning management system. You will be returned to the TM e-Learning Hub home page.

15 How does TM e-Learning Hub handle security?
  All system users are assigned a user id and password. On top of that, System Administrators are able to assign appropriate security level to each user in each of the function. They can assign read only, add, delete, edit or any combination of these rights to users. By doing this, System Administrator will have the flexibility to assign security rights to each user base on their usage.

16 How to view the enrolled courses?
  You can view all the enrolled courses by going to the Learning Plan page. By using the search functions, key in the criteria (e.g. Course name, code, type or status) and click on the 'Search' button. The system will return the results of the search based on the criteria.

17 Is TM e-Learning Hub compliant with any standards?
  TM e-Learning Hub has been designed to AICC standards Guidelines. Work is underway to comply with Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) Ver 1.1 which had just been released in March 2001.
